Our History

Your hosts, David Levy and Barry Robbins, welcome you to their version of a traditional deli! When we opened in 1995 our goal was to remind our customers what a deli experience is like. From crunchy kosher pickles to piled high pastrami and corned beef sandwiches, steaming bowls of matzo ball soup, traditional brisket dinners and a bakery boasting homemade recipes, we hope to please our customers from start to finish. We work hard to source the best meats, vegetables, and ingredients all while developing new items to keep up with current culinary trends!

  • I just wanted to thank you so very much for the excellent catering that Milton's provided for Temple Etz Rimon's Shabbat San Diego dinner last Friday. The food was SO delicious! The chicken was so flavorful, the brisket was tender and mouthwatering, the vegetable quiche was truly outstanding, and all the sides were excellent as well. And your challah is probably the best I've ever tasted outside of New York! It was a pleasure working with your staff. From creating the menu to delivering the food, everyone was wonderfully helpful and accommodating. This was the first time we've ever had outside catering for an event and based on this positive experience, we would be happy to use your services again. Please extend our heartfelt thanks to Maria, Sal, Eddie, Ramon, all the chefs, Gilbert and of course, Josh. Everyone did a phenomenal job. Many, many thanks again
